Pharmaceutical Warehouse
Nick and a group of overseas architects took part in a design competition for a warehouse and distribution facility of pharmaceutical products with auxiliary spaces for locker rooms, offices, and dispatch.

The building while complies with local Council regulation tries to become a simple, compact, and modular geometry to meet the client expectations. All prefabricated, but not the ground-hugging podium. It is a very low-cost project.

Dominated by the criteria of functionality and the efficiency of distribution and use, the plan is open and clearly defined in line with the council's approval authority requirements.

The objectives of minimal maintenance included a 100.000 litre water tank and around 50 solar panels connected to the grid to produce a sustainable source of renewable energy. Also, natural light is carefully used to avoid the usual darkness of this type of establishment and provide adequate amenity to the offices.
